unlabelled, printed with white painterly checks, with some squares filled with purple, green and yellow, outsized
Halston met Will & Eileen Richardson on the streets of New York, where they were displaying their tie-dye fabrics. He took them back to his studio and asked them to produce tie-dye, batik and other 'hippy' style prints for his couture dresses. These three printed kaftans were commissioned by a New York socialite.
